just brought my first ever car a citroen saxo x 1.1i 1998
only problem is when the doors are open i cant push the knob down that locks the door they only work when the doors are shut
any clues plz help

This is to stop you locking keys in the car. Either use the central locking fob, if you have one, or you have to shut the door then lock it with the key.

other cars, if you lift up the door handle outside you can push down the knob and then slam the door shut. Give it a go but don't lock your keys in it
