bad conditon black paint, reccomened product?

As title my black saxo has horrible paint work, ideally would need a respray tbh, but i aint gonna spend that sorta money. At the moment i use meguiars and autoglym gear.
So can anyone reccomend product that work well with dark colour cars, price would be sort of somewhere in the middle, would pay more on certain things if it ment i was going to notice a good difference between product when its finished.

shampoo, polish, wax, towels, clay bar etc...
