106 Wing

My dads just told me that he reversed into a pug 106 & the car needs a new wing, the women phoned up & said she's been quoted £800 for a new wing & painted, her car is standard red so nothing special.

I think that is a total rip off, i reckon it should cost around £200, is there any body specialists on here that can tell me a rough price as surley £800 is a total piss take & iam not going to sit back & watch my dad get ripped off, she wants to go through his insurance but i dont see the point.

brand new parts can be a bit pricey, and depending where shes getting it sprayed could make all the difference

but yes, that is a rip off and you should maybe do some research and suggest some alternatives for her

and p.s - it might be a plan to change your signature, as it could cause offence

yeah sounds like a rip off but ive heard other ppl paying the same. i have had 2 new wings on mine in the past smileys/smiley9.gif and they cost me £50 for the wing and not much for spraying £100 at most, so all in £200.

what are they doing making the wing themselves?

im sorry mate but that is a major rip off.

i was charged £400 for a new wing (fitted and sprayed) on my saxo. that was brand new as well.
