Apple (http://store.apple.com/uk/browse/home/shop_mac/family/macbook?mco=MTE3MjE). Was going to get myself the one on the far right [2.1ghz] and then double the ram to 2gb, can get that + new nano all for like £680.

Opinions/ You got this yourself?
You reckon tis worth going for the 2.0ghz one, seperate graphics etc.

Edit: Screw that, think I'll go for the new macbook, £830 all in with 8gb nano, tis £949 if I'm not a student, love it.

IMO apple has kind of shot itself in the foot with the new macbook launches. Paying an awful lot more for not actually much gain.

I would stay with the white one and beef the ram to 4gb, i have just done this on my white 2.4ghz one for £46.99 from crucial (thats 2 x 2gb sticks)

Lol, cheers for the reply.

Am in 2 minds completely what to do, I know whatever I do it'l be old news in the case of Apple within 6 months. So your opinion the new hyper around this NVidia graphics isnt that special to pay extra for?

May phone them up, see if I can get an even better deal.

Edit:
Can get, New Macbook, 2.0ghz, 2gb ram etc, 8gb Nano, 3 years Hardware warranty, delivered for £830

Yea, pretty bloody good discount, once I've gone through Qudico and sold the Ipod it should be about £680 [with 3 year warranty] or so rather than the £949 book price.

I had a white macbook. Never again.

Ah, how come? You seem pretty clued up with whats good n whats not.

Just personal preference or not up to the expectations you had?

I have a few cases of OCD lol. The light shining on the laptop made it look a little yellow. I was forever paranoid about getting it dirty.

I would buy another mac again just not the white macbook.

OS is great although i do prefer multitasking in windows over leopard.

Also the screen got on my tits trying to get used to it after using my 22" tft.

Sorry mate, here you go. ooo moneys offfzz (http://promo.euro.apple.com/edu/hed/200611/uk/?cid=AOS-A30000068840), yea, gotta be on the Network at Uni to get the most of the discount, I'm sure you know someone at Uni somewhere though, tis worth finding them to save the pennies, lots of them.
Free Ipod pretty much, 3 year warranty etc, do it quick, I've just ordered new macbook 13" with yellow nano 8gb etc. Cant wait.

Ive got the £949 macbook, and I find it great. Seems to be a real great build quality, and the new RAM and Graphics just make it alot better in my opinion.

I got a student Discount of 14%, so that went down to around £820-830. Then I got a free Nano, which my brother bought off me (I don't need it) for £70. So that goes to £740 :)

Can I install it on a Mac and it will run smoothly or best to stick to PC
