hi guys, im after a bit of advice, had my phase 2 VTR for almost 12 months now, last night as i turned a corner there was a bit of a knock, and the whole inside of the car is vibrating!
ive read up a bit and found that it may be a lower engine mount or coil pack etc, but just wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem, or if anyone can shed any light on what the problem may be??
any help would be greatly apprecaited guys!

this may sound a bit silly, but you havent knocked into a curb recently have you?
lower engine mount coming loose is a common saxo fault.

no not hit any curbs, vibration is really bad inside the car, but not noticeable inside.
it may well be the lower engine mount.
booked into local garage tomorrow for a check up!!

I've got a similar problem with my saxo. When driving between 2-3k revs there is really bad vibration in the wing mirror glass, instrument panel clear plastic and just the dash in general. Its really beginning to annoy me now, so could it just b the lower engine mount?

well it aint the coilpack beacause i've just replaced that n its cleared all the bad rattles n vibrations n all the mirrors etc still rattle so it must just be the lower engine mount

hi guys, well, after taking the car into garage on Sat, it turned out the o/s engine mount retainging bolt had sheared causing the engine to vibrate on the chassis.
minimal cost to replace, and back to normal.
thanks for the help guys.
Ainzie.
