well today i fitted my induction kit and when it ticks over the revs drop and rise high..
im not sure what to do..
also will the induction kit make me use more fuel?
i have used half a tank and i have only done 30 miles :(
also there is two hoses which are not connected to anything and they both inhale air(suck) does anyone know what to do with them?
thanks people

sounds like a dodgy airflow meter to me.

also, unfortunately, you will lose miles per gallon when u add an induction kit.

i havent yet put the air flow sensor in yet so im going to put it in tomorrow.
hopefully that sorts the problem out :)

COuld be two things in my mind, 1) the air flow sensor which could be at fault, or 2) the idle control valve may need to be cleaned out.

My sax, used to idle irratically (ie high/low/high/low revs at idle) and cleaning the ICV off sorted this out :)

and yeah any "performance" mods wil lower your MPG but 30 miles on half a tank is very very out...

you should of run the one off the top of the rocker to the induction pipe. the other follow it back and put a breather on the inlet manifold dont see how your using more fuel maybe dirty idle control valve

number one refit the air temp switch somewhere in the rubber sleave as thats vital. stick a breather filter on the end of the larger pipe if you cant route it into the intake pipe work

the sensor in the red circle cut a hole in the rubber sleave slot it in and seal it up
