Im also needing a tailpipe desgin i can fit in the normal cut out, any ideas guys ive got around £100 to spend

a lot of people have the magnex 3.5" & its meant to be really good.

i've got a cat back piper system which does exactly what you want. nice purring/bubbling on tick-over but you know its there when you boot it. they make an oval tail-pipe design that fits perfectly into the bumper cut-out as well

when i was getting mine done another guy in the shop was talking about his piper 3.5 - said it sounded awesome. not sure what it'll sound like with just the backbox but sure it'll do what you want
