Right after seeing the gt4 thread and talking to karl I have decided to start a Xbox challenge.

Challenge is the same as the GT4 one a lap of the ring in a standard Peugeot 206 RC in free run mode with a picture to show fastest lap and the car with the class next to it D304

Car:

In free run you cant adjust damage etc....and there isnt a free run in career so use the arcade one and try and beat 9:06, fair play for the 9:23 if you havent played it for ages!!!

Perfect lap, was really feeling it. Come to a turn round the back part of the track, not far from the end and the whole game freezes for about a second as I'm braking. Was almost as if it was trying to load a music track from the disc (i have music turned off). Went mega wide, lost about 3 seconds real time and gained a 5+ second penalty. Finished the lap on a 9:26.xxx which was with 5.3xx second penalty from going wide.

So pissed off, gonna struggle to put another good lap together.

Current best is 9:26.308 which was the first lap of the session so it's about 5 seconds slower due to straight line speed disadvantage when you start.

This is how my lap time stands at the moment, 1st lap rolling start. Span out on the second lap, which would of been slightly quicker as you gain more speed on the straight crossing the line, starting the 2nd lap. I'll try again later!
