-Lowered 40mm on Gmax Kit
-VTS Wheels
-Morrette Headlight Conversion
-Enclosed induction kit
-Cat Back Exhaust System


Plans:
1) VTS wheel refurb- Gloss black with red lip (completed! Pictures P12-13-14)
2) Paint the calipers red (Done!)
3) Smoked rear jewels(Fitted)
4) Sound system with false floor (Bootbuild Finished!! , pictures on page 5)
5) Generally clean up of engine with new covers(Done!)
6) Change the number plate back to original 03 plate.(Doing this month)
7) New Enclosed Induction Kit (Fitted Page 7!)
8) Any Exhaust system, including manifold! Magnex Full System Fitted Fitted With Janspeed 4-2-1
9) Road Cam + Remap! Bought, Fitted, Mapped= 115bhp
10) New EBC Brake Set Up & Red stuff Pads (Bought & Fitted)
11) 307 HDI 266mm Calipers Fitted
12) Brembo Rear Disks & Frodo Uprated Pads: Bought & Fitted

so i foamed each wheel... and washed off...
It also gave me an idea how the car would sit on white vts rims, but im still feeling black with a red lip.. ;)

Nice Car mate but change the headlights. They are proper wrong and change petrol cap. Its a little bit chav but apart from that you got a good deal. I paid £2500 for my 03 vtr last year with 66000 on the clock.

Then another fitment test using the amp too..

Tuesday i am getting the floor covered in black lush leather ;)
Also getting more capable power cables :y:
Then, i'm going to fetch some perpex to cover the amp, yet you'll be able to see it ;)

Well i'll tell you a few things...

1- Engine bay clean up + ensuring all levels are correct including oil
2- Wheel Archers- ensuring your not carrying any crap, and making them look alot better.
3- Alloy wheels, using my own things, i'll clean them up and polish them.
4- Give the car two washes, using two bucket method
5- Leather it all
6- Polish it using Auto Glym Products
7- Buffer it using one of them rotary tools
8- Inside- It will be hoovered, and hoovered again, then all plastic trim, including dash board all polished :y:
9- Inside windows fully cleaned.

Today i leathered my false floor bootbuild... The result i think is great ;)

I am just waiting for sound proofing for the underneath of the build..
Also i need to get some perpex to fit on top of the amp :y: Then thats it ;)

Yea, play with ideas on how high you want the boot build to sit off the bottom of the boot, then you know what width of wood to get, then cut lengths of it to streghten the mdf in places that would be weak.

The way I would think of it is. Cams and remap stay with the car when you sell it. 106 gti interior can come with you. So it depends on how long you are planning on keeping it. Personally I would got for the interior.

Received my plasma dials today.. took me 5 hours getting the steering wheel and other surrounds off and back in.. then when i came to switch ignition on.. the speedometer read....

..Doh!! -0 lol
So 2moro i must do it all again, and reset it to 0!

Ok so today i decided it's time for some more change...
so firstly i took off the rear badges and i'm spraying them red...

Then i decided to start my wheel refurbs, black with a red lip... so off came the VTS wheels, on went the furios... ;)

So with the vts rims off, on goes the sanding process:

easiest mod ive done so far, they plug and play, on the transformer there are 3 plugs.. 1 goes into your original light plug, other two go on the other two out the end of the other side of the transformer, so its a loop..

So its a plug and play kit, just a case of disconnecting all the lights removing bulbs, reconnecting all cables, and putting the bulbs in and mounting the ballast somewhere? Nothing connects to the battery? Sorry just wanted to make sure..

when you get the box, empty it, you'll instantly see which plugs go where and ther'll be one with 3 teeth on it which, if you unplug your bulb, you put that into, take the original bulb out and replace it with the hid. then mount the transformers..
instructions included but its common sense :y:

it's the bulbs that are a bastard to get in, and stay in with morrettes... this HID kit was plug and play.. it actually is plug in and switch lights on.. but its just has easy/hard to change a bulb, which is basically what your doing :y:
