Hey, recently bough a really nice vts and am having couple of electrical problems. firstly battery light comes on when ur driving and stays on nearly all time, flashes on and off every now and agen, then sometimes all the interior dial lights start flashing crazy, me cd player go offs etc but when u turn car off and back on it doesnt do it?:S really random tbh but can anyone help me????pleeeease

Im from chester, was told its had a new battery and alternaor already but think the guy who sold it me was chatting poo tbh wot else may it be cos battery dus look brand new

check to see if the battery connections are tight and that the battery is mounted securely....
then check the alternator.
imo if hes says he changed it, it sounds liek he knows there a problem and hasnt done anything about it

well battery isnt exactly very secure on it so i made sure it was but the red connector on battery is a clip on secure one and they both seem really tight, cant understand whats up wit it! U be able tell me bout me heating aswell?lol

lol simply doesnt work, jst get cold air through vents no matter what and it aint exactly t shirt and shorts weather :P just wanna no options of what it is and how to diagnose it meself whilst im free tomoz day? oh and also how much parts are??

sound like heater matrix, duno about cost.
but its a funking mish to change.
flush the cooling system, as a pipe maybe blocked or something silly like that

okie doke il try that tomoz am pretty sure the part is around the £30 mark maximum lol where abouts is me heater matrix on me car?? and what bout the thermostat?

well its contained in a big black unit
and youll see to pipes going in, and it should just slot out.
try the coolant flush first

Over an hour away from me :n:.
If you was closer i have a new battery in the garage i would of let you borrow to test if it was the battery at fault.

I had a similar problem in my VTS. After checking the alternator, the belt and actually having the alternator replaced, it turned out to be two burnt out wires on top of the alternator. I had those replaced and all was resolved :)
