been away from the site for a while guys and my car got broken into again so ive decided to save up for de-locking and a decent alarm.

just wondered about the de-locking thing:

anyone local(ish) to me know any good reasonably priced bodyshops willing to do it or am i best just going with a local unknown one?

is there still a chance of it being screwdrivered or do they weld metal plates in?

how much roughly have people paid for this?

the place i get mine done would have charged 300 quid, but they arent a run of the mill body shop but im friends with the owner.

They remove the lock, weld metal plates in and respray teh full door.

nice one, so im looking at about 300ish, better get saving some more!

i think 300 is quite expensive, probably around 200/250 is more reasonable

don't know of any like "proper" bodyshops round my area ill just get the yellow pages out tomorrow and call the run of the mill ones see what they say i think. i might be selling after xmas so it needs doing coz people arent gunna buy a car with a hole in the door!
