Horrible Noise on Rev

Hi Guys

Need some help. When reving the car past about 3,000 revs the car suddenly sounds like its a diesel.

It makes some horrible noises. - The car is a 1.6 VTR?!!

It does it mostly when you are accelerating past 3krpm and lifting off?

any ideas?

Could hav a dodgey tappet mate when did you get an oil change

Yeah thnking that or low oil pressure will cause a tappety sound check your level 1st mate.
