I've always liked driving games, especially "simulation" ones. I also put a hell of a lot of time into Forza when it was first released, you can see that by the 1000/1000 gamerscore i have in it :P

I dunno really, learn the track and the way the car handles. Know when it's going to bounce off the rev limiter, know when it's going to grip or carry on understeering and figure out the best line to take for the car you're driving.

Best advise would be to try and drive smooth. I guarantee you your time will be better if you try and drive smoothly than all raggedy trying to go as fast as possible, also lets you get used to the racing lines.

Good advice mate.. Do you think that the civic loses grip easily and slides?

It doesn't have great traction going into corners no, but when it grips on the way out you really can tell. That's why it's very important to drive smoothly and not chuck it from side to side.
