as fred says - just take anything out that isnt part of the chassis!

get rid of the spare...then buy a can of tyre weld incase of a flat

could also dewiper to get rid of mechanism + plastic trim on tailgate

Just get rid of anything you think you dont need.

But keep:

Steering Wheel
Engine & Gearbox
Shell

Oh and 1 seat.

Mankee on SSC is well know for his stripping expertise smileys/smiley2.gif

another tip

dont fill the tank with petrol. remember 1 litre = ~1kg

wideboy
23rd August 2005, 23:27
i dont mean to nit-pick, but is a litre of petrol not a slight different weight per kilogram...?

compared to water anyhoo

i would think so..it's gonna have a different density isn't it...therefor different weight.
