Radiator Fan Problem

Hi all, was just woundering if you could help me out.

I Crash my SAXO smileys/smiley19.gif but need little front end damage. Anyways my Radiator Cowling had cracked so i bought a new one. I have fitted it today and when i turn the engine on the Temp light stays ON. When i turn the engine off the Fan keeps on going and will not shut down, but when i turn the engine back on its stops and then comes on when the engine is warm.

Does anyone know what i can do????

sounds like the water temperature sensor has take a bruise think they are only a tenner for a new one PM SaxoAl

here are the water temp and cold start sensors for the ecu...

or it will be on your rad as a blue sensor.
