no warm air for starters....and my temp gauge has a mind ov its own it never goes above half way but tends to rise and drop to just under a quater of the way up and messes around a bit cheers

Has it got cold? There's loads of this heating problem on here last few days! Most people suggesting bleeding the system. While you are at it, I'd recommend flushing it through aswell, to clear all the crap out.
Dials can play up but it's more usually gunna be the sender and the gauge is fine. Recall that's quite an easy fix too. These are both fairly easy DIY jobs!

the temp sender was changed nt to long ago, yes its blowing cold jus never warming up....heater matrix maybee?

some1 jus sed could be the thersostate....any talk me thru it i would be greatfull
