Take it back bud. I work for Orange and all the Bolds have massive software faults that keep causing the phones to drop calls and it will not be able to switch from 2G to 3G. The prob comes from the software blackberry have put on the handsets and the new batch is not gonna be out until Nov.
Quote from our internal systems:
BlackBerry Bold and non-Orange software issue
We just wanted to let you know that we're currently looking into a non-Orange specific software issue on the BlackBerry Bold 9000 handset.
While we continue to look in it with BlackBerry/RIM, we've decided that it's best to stop any more deliveries of the handset rather than risk poor customer experience.
We know that this is a hugely popular device at the moment which is why it is important that we do what we can to ensure customer satisfaction.
what to say to customers
If you are asked by a customer about the BlackBerry Bold, you can say:
“We are committed to providing the BlackBerry Bold to customers in the UK, and we’re working with RIM on providing a maintenance release of software to address some reported 3G related concerns.
Although the reported 3G concerns have been limited to a minority of Orange customers in the UK, both Orange and RIM take customer concerns very seriously and felt it was prudent to introduce a maintenance release of software for Orange UK customers at this time.
On behalf of Orange and RIM I apologise for any inconvenience and we expect to provide a software maintenance release soon."

The Blackberry Storm could be a winner, syncs with iTunes...
Only problem it will be plastered in Vodafone logos everywhere.
