Thinking of getting a K + N Air filter for my car. They quite expensive in the 60 quid bracket. I was looking on ebay and found 'Grade B' air filter. They say it has got damaged in transit and could be a minor scratch on the actually metal or a slightly dented filter. Would i slightly dented filter effect anything major? I mean wouldn't i carefull prise it out say if i stick a pen behind it or something think to pop it back out?

Cheers.

Is there a pic of it?

if the dent hasnt made a whole in anything and if the dent itself is slight and hasnt 'split' if that makes sense lyk if its all intacked, it shout be ok, the scratch on the silver part is just gointo effect the looks not the performance... i mean if you want to get tecknical then you could say the dent will effect as the shape of these things are designed for mximm surface area but seriously this is on a minute scale and probly want worth mentioning lol.
