Hi guy's,

I got a little problem with my 'Air Bag light' on my mk2 saxo vtr.

Basically I noticed the air bag light has come on and it won't go off. It's been like it for a week or so, I took it to a Citroen garage but they said it'll cost 45quid to get it checked over n then could be more with any repairs!

If any1 has had his problem or knows a solution would be much appreciated.

Andy

i think there is some sort of sensor in the steering wheel there is a plug that when it is unplugged will cause the light to come on, maybe it has worked loose. Sod citroen somone on here will help you sort it m8 don't worry

Yeah and me, searched and found some threads on it and people suggested checking the connections under the seat. No luck for me though :n:

The airbag will still work trust me on that one ;)

Disconnect battery, check the connections under the seat, disconnect them, clean them up with a small brush. Reconnect wires And reconnect battery and check to see if the lights still on.

If it is, you could check the airbag to see if it's connected, Mark51 did a guide, do a search for it.

otherwise a mechanic will be able to reset it for you-it most likely will come back on though if it's a fault connection wise.

cut the plugs off and solder the ends together, its a design fault with saxo the plugs come undone when chair moves
