just trying to get a decent quote for a fitted recondition gearbox :( how much could i be looking at you reckon ?

job to say really mate depends where you go isuppose, but the boxes are on ebay with a few bids at £30 £40 and some buy it nows just over £100 and then the fitting only a guess but around 3 hours to do the job i would say only an estimate tho someone might be able to say for sure, so depends on what the place charge for labour could be anything from £35 per hour up to £70 £80

Might be worth considering doing the clutch while you're at it too.

With a clutch and box supplied I rekon you could be looking at around £350+

I was quoted £180 just for a Clutch change on my old Saxo, so by the time you add a gearbox to that it isn't going to be cheap!

worth getting it done though, doesn't really help when i have just moved into my own place lol
