quick question about the service indicator

hi all ,

was trying to change my clock on the car and couldnt figure it out , decided to holld the button in while i turn the car on and it started counting down on the display , i left it thinking it could be the hours or something then these symbols started coming up , knocked it off and started it up again as normal. but before id done this the spanner indicating it needed a service was on and afterwards it was set to 12500 miles till next service and counting down ! , is there any way of putting this back and what exactly have i done :p

lol, all you've done is reset the service counter, dw bout that, the clock resets with the right hand dial, ignition on, hold till the numbers flash, hours will flash first, repeatedly push the stalk till you get the right hour then let it flash onto minutes, change them the same way then let the numbers go solid again and it's done

If you do want to put the service indicator back to what ever it DID say (9000 maybe) it tell you how to do it in your owners handbook :y:

oh right , yeh was on about 8000 so will put it back at some point
