good man.
I forget how RA plays online.
so maybe i will have to register a new user but some SAX-P usernames here would be good.

If you don't play it from the start online and you don't know how RTS's work online you'll have no hope lol!

People geek to much!

Think it's EA, so if you already have an EA account pretty sure you can use that!

Ditto, was on my doormat this morning when i woke up :)
First thoughts, not bad quite good little units etc, still haven't played it yet. Can't wait to start playing co-op with my mate online.
One thing i feel its gone too cartoony from tiberium wars etc, i know its diff makers but from same people if you get me, i especially hate the highlighted stroke around each unit and building. that's what makes it hugely childish.

LAN Party!

I hate new games, you can just download and play them locally.

All the network stuff has to go through another server which imo, is gay.

*Cough*Use hamachi virtual server, www.hamachi.cc Create a server and pssible password if you like and then get your mates download the hamachi too and your away :) *Cough*

for the sake of £26 i would rather reap the benefits of owning the original! each to their own though!

Missed this thread!

Never even knew it was coming out in all honesty! Was a MASSIVE fan of the first two.

What faction do you prefer on this title?
~ Allied
~ Soviets
~Rising Sun

I just completed the co-op's online with my mate. Not too bad abit short, completed it on Hard, had to re do a couple of levels etc, hopefully they will bring out a expansion like they did with RA2.

Well what a waste of time, it's a load of poop. Much prefer SupCom, loved RA1 but these are getting less realistic now! The graphics are too cartoonie IMO!

Ferg

Yeah i'd agree ... seems abit cartoonie and unrealistic ...

C&C Generals is my favourite still tbh.

I think its ok, could have been better if Westwood Studios did it, but seeing as they stopped in 2003 i guess this is the sort of game we have to put up with. Typical EA overhaul though IMO

Karl

it's alright but gameplays a bit slow.

MarkyG
6th November 2008, 14:43
agreed with you there Karl

Brooksy

You can speed up gameplay in settings.

Try CNC3 Tib wars that's better than Generals. More I play RA3 the better I think it is. Guess it's just with personal tastes and most other games.
