fiesta zetec S' are resonably cheap, and have exactly the same performance as a vtr.

EDIT; just realised you said VTS, not VTR

not interested in VTR performance lol

just wondered if there was something that will match the vts and have cheaper insurance

thanks anyway

PUNTO GT
205GTI
IBIZA GTI 16V
306GTI
RS1600

i got quotes on all of these including a vts and all where within £100 of each other. all have similar performance with 60 coming up in between 7-8 seconds.

to be honest mate, its all going to be the same. i got a vts because for the money it was the quickest and cheapest to insure, run and purchase. oh and tune. the fiesta zetec s is fairly poor performance really and tuning doesn't give great results without big money being spent. of cars that i have raced, fiesta st wasn't even close to me, 306gti6 was a close run, punto gt was a close run, 205 gti wasn't close. a friend of mine has a clio 1.8 16v, his seems to return good mpg and fairly good performance but again didn't give me much of a run.

thats the thing, the money you save buying a VTS is leveled by the insurance!

Fiesta ST? good one...
