ASW printed press work

Right student sports season has started and im being paid a very small fee to cover the rugby league games in the super 6 series. Just covers me really, last year i did it for free so helps for my food bill lol!

anyway had an email from someone yday over the pics they forwarded onto the national rugby league mag.

Theyve cropped it down alot but not to bothered as its a good thing to add into my portfolio, and should be useful if i can get more in there as ive allways wanted to go more into the sports route with photography.

DSI are people who are screwing up the industry for photographers. So are tilllate who I first started with, all their togs work for free all the time mostly. Although I do the odd high profile event for them If i feel its going to benifit me, or i cant be arsed to pay.

Alot of my work has been for lock n load events for events like The gallery@ministry of sound, Sw4 and get loaded in the park, and some stuff for grooverider, and david guetta.

top left ja. I shot it in portrait so it had all the players legs in etc.. so they cropped it alot. Not the best shot like i said but being printed is important really no matter what. And I did get a small fee from my uni for each game, which isnt bad as its only just over an hours work.

I had some in 2006 but none in the rugby league press which is what i have shot alot of.

Guy has made millions from that one shot according to a tog i was chatting to the other week.

well for sports stuff im happy, as its a real arse trying to get anything printed thats not signed to getty or reuters.

Got another game from the super 6 this week so hopefully will have more work featured but not getting my hopes up.

Might be having some of my pics featured on a flyer for NYE though

Sorry for bumping the old.

Was a pic published of a plane that was "missing" belonging to Air Scotland. The plane had been taken out of service without them telling ANYONE, and I found it whilst delivering to an RAF place in Lasham.

Called the daily Record, e-mailed them the pic, and a month later, large cheque arrives for me. It was also printed all over their paper - huuuuge size! That money paid for the first round of Suki's mods!
