You will love the mpg :P they are such nice cars, iv thought about them before i got a saxo.
My old boss's daughter had one, and got some Mercadies wheels for it, and it looks well good, 18's i think they were.

They are awesome cars, but i think il stick french, although, after this HDI in a few years, im very tempted to get a golf, or a Skoda Octavia VRS, they are big cars, but look sooo good when you style them well

yeh, i got a loan for my saxo(s) after i rolled the 1st then bought another the very next day lol, so i dont have alot of money to burn, as i pay out 500ish a month for loan and insurance.
But im planning on keeping the pug for 2 years at least, so i will be doing a fair bit to it.
Best thing with the Diesels is, that you can do engine stuff to gain bhp so much easier... like adding a intercooler... and you still get stupid good mpg

Very nice - Ive got a 1.8T mk4 and its great. Quick, but quiet and refined, and build quality is in another world to the old saxos ;)

im paying £200 month car and £200 insurance a month but paying insurance off over 6 months wanting to run 200bhp at end could be possible never know rempa is ment to see 165bhp

id say get a front mounted intercooler then remap, for what you will pay, its worth doing all at once instead of it been mapped twice :)

i think the intercooler is alredy front mounted thats reason they dont have bottom foglights but ino you can get bigger one and thinking of getting bmc cda instead of a panel filter

im just getting a panel filter for my pug, dont like the looks of proper showy filters on dervs, they look out of place, only thing i like in the engine bay is the pipes for intercooler and stuff

panel filter may be better for horses than a open filter :) with how packed in the diesel engines are, not alot of air circulation

which is hard with the lack of space :P
suppose when you take the old airbox out, it will make some room to mount it, then abit of room to find a place for tubing
