Personal no. plate

i bought myslef a personal no. plate about 6 months ago. Havnt put it on yet but am looking to soon. Its S6 AXO. i paid £250 for it and recently had it valued at £800-£1000. Make quite a nice profit when i come to sell it! :p

Just wondering what plates you have and whether there personalised to you or your car and what people pay for them??

I have M8X DJ, M6X DJ and V1 SAX

V1 SAX cost £1000 a few years ago, was valued at £2600 and has been on the market for over a year now at just £1600

A number plate is only worth what someone is prepared to pay. Unfortunately there are very few Prefix type plates that will apreciate in time.

it is worth £250 not £800-£1000

all the private plate websites will value any plate very highly. what they mean is they will advertise the plate at that price on their website for you, not that they will give you the money. you will never sell it at that sort of price. i had one advertised for months at £400 when they valued it at £800+ and it never sold. ended up giving it away with the car.

Yea, there is also a plate ive seen that i wanted as is perfect for me but sooo expensive.

been recetnly trying to think or mirror plates, if your unsure of what i meen, think of when an ambulance is behind you and you can read "AMBULANCE" in your rear view as its the wrong way round.

Been trying to think of a plate like that, not working tho!!!

And my initials spell KAB and im no taxi, kind of stuck for ideas for the saxo :n:

T1 3VAH was a great plate I almost ended up buying. Left it a bit too late and lost out. Was a bargain price as well

Technically you could have:

F11 CKU

and put a screw between the 11 to make it a U, then get the space in between the 'K' and the 'U', so:

I cant remember exactly what the combination is but it very easily reads COBRA....Trust lol
