tbh mate the reason formular 1 and lewis hamilton is always debated about is because its on itv. I watch wrc some times and it is usualy on the channels you have to pay for. Plus it aint in he same league as formular one no wheel to wheel action. And corners on wrc seem to just constantly arrive seconds after the last its hard to keep up.

WRC is on Channel4 and Dave iirc.

Cant remember the last time anyone had to pay for them.

WRC SuperSpecial stages are the tits.

Hamilton revealed in an interview how when growing up, there wasnt much overtaking...so he wants to show people it can be possible...and in my opinion...he has made the sport that little bit more exciting.

On topic -

WRC is great for people who enjoy lots of twisties and uncertainties...I watch the highlights on Eurosport or Dave, depending on which is on 1st. I enjoy watching it, as I do time attakcs on myself when the twisties are dead on way home from GF house. You can learn alot about driving from watching IN CAR videos of Rallying.

Do you have to pay for Eurosport?

People tend to be more interested in F1 as there isnt really a driver in the WRC who is challenging and is British (barring the Ford owners son, but he isnt exactly challenging is he...races for Stobart Ford). People have taken to F1 more because there is a BRITISH driver competing at the top. Same with many other sports where the Sportsman gets the praise, not the team. Take Andy Murray for example, no one would watch Tennis unless they are a genuine fan (imo), but because he is BRITISH, a shit load of people have taken an interest. Best season for a British Tennis player since the days of Fred Perry.

I really like both, and love how rally is more road car orientated but still really exciting etc.

Wish they all didn't cut corners like hell though, only Loeb doesn't do it and he still comes out fastest lol.

Cut corners?

its a rally.
Get from A to B the fastest.

Thought that was the point lol

I mean like they're 5 feet into the dirty on the apex on the corner when on tarmac etc, Loeb only puts his inner tire off the tarmac and pwns them all even without cutting that much.

Ive learnt from Forza that trying to drift every corner is mega slow compared to a racing line.

I hate the game.
Think its retarded you can build a clio with "credits" that keeps up with 911 GT3s

ROFL Rem.

Best thing about rally is that you can pritty much drive it home on the roads, if it's still in one piece.

Haha yup, thats why the Mk2 Escorts never win anymore in rallying. Probably the most fun way to drive though :P.

it WAS amazing untill it started the same pish as F1 with orders etc!!!!

teams stopping near the end of stages when its gravel for better road position on the next day etc .......... it never used to happen and it just plain bollocks imo!!!!

do you have in britain national rallies, where younger drivers drive and competing just in UK. you have WRC and to be honest i am very jelous but we have for comfort many smaller races but thrilling like rally.they are all on tarmac and just watching them i have the desire to just drive my saxo downhill.this year C21600 had better times then the EVOs or WRX imprezas on some stages.they arent in the same group but they could compete with them

Think the best Rally driver vs police is Gronholm vs Welsh police.

'You can't drive this car any further'
'I respect your opinion, but I can, its what I do.'

Rally > F1.
All the F1 cars look the same, whereas the rally cars are just specced up road cars that you can see most of the time.

JWRC is good to watch too, with the C2s, and the Suzukis, and the Clios. Just for the upcoming talent.
