Adjusting Tappets.

i got same probs.theres some nasy tappety noise. Anyone know how to fix?

got mine booked in on saturday but have to leave the car there on friday as engine must be cold

I got my tappets done in the end - But the tappets were very badly adjusted, and the gap was 0, a couple were even slightly pushing the exhaust valves open :O

But now they are set correct, they make a horrendous noise, so either they have done some damage being set incorrectly, or they were set to 0 to stop some of the noise... Either way, i'm gonna have to set them back to 0 this weekend.
