Hi guys, I currently have a Seat Ibiza Cupra, and am looking to get a Saxo VTS (facelift model) instead, however I cant seem to get any sensible insurance quotes! My cupra is IG15 and I understand the VTS is IG14, well my current insurers want an additonal £330 to insure one (which is £900 a year), and even the best online quotes of sub £500 have been with a £750 excess! This seems criminal, so can you guys reccomend any decent insurance companies for :

24 year old
5 years NCB
3 points / £60 fine (TS10)

Im currently with Adrian Flux (brokers) and equity red star (company), but will happily to move to a cheaper ins company!

Many Thanks

Anthony

Well Ive had identical quotes of £543 off privilege and direct line which seems more sensible:).

Any ideas how easy it is to cancel an existing policy and transfer your details / ncb over to a new policy? Is it possible (as insurance isnt due until july 09)?

You've all been a great help so far, and i will be contacing chris knott to see what he can do for me (as i presume an ibiza cupra is a simalarly powered car so i will be eligible for a quote....)

Many Thanks

I think you can just cancel it, but you may not get an extra year on your no claims for this years.
