Mesh Grill.. Problem

if i have a grill with mesh.. and i want to lift the bonet up. how do i get my hand in there to unhook the catch..

do i cut the catch off ?
peice of wire to it ?
screw driver ?

i dunno lol any answers ?????? :err:

erm cut the mesh usually mate, common sense ;) then use a bit of tubing to stop you cutting yourself on the mesh

does it not look dodgy with a bit cut out lol :err: unless i did it on both sides to make it even, then i cood spray the tube silver to match the car :O (or is that just wrong:err:)
