Window Tints

Iv been phoning a few places up to get quotes on Black to gold tints and the majority said they will be no problem except for one which said they fade out and will have to replace them every couple of months smileys/smiley5.gif

what does everybody think to this is this guy true ?

people who have gotten gradient tints how long have you had them on and have you had any probs with them ?

they scratch quickly if you dont get the softer weather strips (from new shape Clio). This is because it is alot thicker window tint film than the normal black stuff.

how hard is it to replace the strips anyway ?

i would like to know this as well cause i have gone through two sets ov tinits at the front and dint know which car to get them from are they the same size

New shape Clio. Fit on perfect.

as al said. if you go to a scrappy, get a set of front weather strips from an r-reg or newer clio. they will replace the existing plastic citroen ones. i managed to pick up four strips for £5.

do not go to renault and get them as they will charge you £40 each. they do not sell the strips individually but sell them as a set (i.e. the bottom, the top and the two sides).

im a bit concerned about gold to black. the black to silver is very nice. i have also seen black to red and again, im not so keen. otherwise, you will be safe with just a normal light smoke tint. suits any car and is cheaper.

Im going to get the Clio strips now, dad went to get them for me yesterday and he came back with the outsite strips !

goin to ge the outside strips later now that i can drive !
