my 98 saxo vtr black top keeps over heatin iv had the head tested and rplasted all the sensors the fan an rad even flushed it out any ideas :wall::wall:

got all right amounts of water etc in radiator?
does the engine get enough cool air?

wire the fan up to a seperate switch so u can turn it on whenever you need to :y:

i have change the thermostat the fan works and it is bled rite iv hade 2 different red caps on it runs sound for a few days then it over heats

Could be an air lock in radiator after bleeding and refilling done.

i second that tbh. I know how much of a bitch they can be if air gets caught in the heater matrix.
Do you get hot air out of the air vents? also are the pipes going to/from the rad hot and rock hard?

the heater makes a funny sound that wont have any thing to do with it the pipes get hard ya cud it be the water pump
