i got the car in may and got it home then the next day it wouldnt start, turned out to be the crank sensor and since then the blower dont work in setting 1 and 2 it only works on 3, my bros a mechanic and said its a little resistor hidden behind the dash. does anyone know where this little thing is coz its anoying me, its not the switch as iv tried another so the last thing to try is the little resistor. any ideas will be appreciated.

the heater motor is infront of your clocks, so try going under the drivers footwell and looking straight up
i swapped mine on my saxo in april, and thats where the motor was, dont think i saw a resistor.
Check for shorted out wires

when i stripped my old saxo i never saw the blower n i took the clocks out lol. il have a look later. iv noticed its had wires chopped and joined coming out of the fuse box so someone has made a bodge job of the wiring at some stage for some unknown reason. it works on setting 3 thats the strange thing i dont get coz theres power going threw the switch.

if you open you bonet, and take the scuttle pannel off, there is a circle cut in the bulkhead, with some foam in it onfront of the drivers seat... thats the heater motor, its on the right hand side of the stearing wheel if you look under the footwell, looks abit like the standard round airbox from underneth

you need the stearing wheel off, and then just take the bolts off the dash that are under the scuttle, then u just pull the dash out abit, take the 2 bolts off it from outside, and it will come out through the footwell
