Hair Dying

Right, I'm off to a fancy dress party in December, theme of "music icons", i wanna go as eminem in his typical, dungarees kind out of outfit. It means dying my hair to fully pull it off as his is white blonde, what do I buy?? I know I need permanent dye but can't find any pure blonde dyes in Boots. My hair at the moment is brown, not dark but not that light either.

heyyyyy... i work at a hair wholesalers and trained in beauty so i know a bit about hairdressing...

ok, so how dark is your hair at the moment? like kinda medium brown?

what you will need to get is a 12% peroxide and a bleach, but be very very careful with that on your scalp, it will lift you to the blond you need, but will sting and boil your scalp to hell! so therefore getting a cap and pulling the blonde through maybe your best bet on that..

it will be permanant by the way... you will go very blonde, thats what i have on my hair and i'm a medium brown(ish) naturally!

well you need either, a hair streaking kit or what ever you call it... and you can either disobay the destructions (seave it on for say 45 mins max it says) well keep it on for a hour to a hour and 20 mins to get white blonde (i do this), (optional)then would could get a highlighting kit to make it even brighter!!

Or could just go to a hair dressers and ask to get your hair bleached very light blonde close to white and they will do it for you :) (might need to get a booking though)

I used to work in Superdrug on the hair dept If you go in and look in the hair dying section thers a product called b blonde one of those will do it for you all the dye and peroxide is in the kit just folow the insturctions and ull come out with the blonde you want heres a link to them. id say its the best one to get as all the stuff in there and easy to do :D hope that helps
