Guns textures have been made better looking no more shoddy rushed textures (like the beta)
the gameplay itself feels more crisp and faster than the beta too.
Had to drag myself off the xbox at 2.30 last night to get to sleep as work @ 7.30.

COD5 = the reason not to buy another xbox game in a long, long time.

PS. Toad - 60FPS, how are you finding this out on the 360?
Wasn't aware of any software that told you the FPS on a 360.

Have to say at first i thought this is pritty rubbish but as soon as the first mission is over the game really shines! Flame throwers and russian missions are amazing, in alot of ways its simular to COD4. Love it..... havn't played it online yet though.

Really good game, i didnt care much for Cod4, the campaign was good, but the skill gap online was almost non existant, CoD5 however, even though it runs on the same engine as CoD4, it just seems to require more aim and knife works alot better :)

I dont find that Mikey, i was decent at Cod4 but im good at this on the levels that I know, but will only be a matter of time before Ive played all the levels several times.

Like i was playing a team deathmatch on Courtyard, got a 25-4 then the next game was on Makin which I hadnt played before and got thumped 4-17 or something ridiculous lol

It doesn't tell you as such. Often though, you'll see 60Hz written on the case. This means that it's designed to be played on a TV that can refresh at 60Hz, which is 60fps in other words. If the game didn't run at 60fps, it would be a bit odd to advertise it as compatible with 60Hz TV sets...

You can tell it's running at 60fps just by seeing how smooth the movement is. Have you ever played COD4 and then popped Halo 3 in right after? A whole world of difference, as Halo 3 is only run at 30fps. I got COD WOW, and I'm really enjoying it! I'm a little disappointed in the lack of change, as I would have expected more to have gone into it considering how much of it is exactly the same as the previous version. But I'm definitely enjoying it, that's for sure!

Because it's a *new* game, and I can't help but think that there could have been more effort put into it. Not to ruin the current gameplay, but to either polish it more, or add more variety. I like the way they have bigger maps, and sniping is lot's of fun, especially when you can get into some pretty cool, high up positions.

On Battlefield2 (PC) you could take out a tank with a couple of C4s. Trust me, it's one of the most satisfying things in the world! :)

Not used any single shot rifles yet, heavy machine guns are ok. Apparently the shotgun is really good, better than it was in 4 but not tried it yet either!

Like the fact the silencer is only 25 kills though.

The thompson has a really small clip (which can be increased with the 3rd perk thingie) which makes it very hard to use. The MP40 is much better I think because of this. It's quite cool how you can use sniper rifles (bolt action rifles) without scopes... I tried the shotty, it wasn't bad at all. Still useless unless you are really close though, so it's pointless IMO.

In COD4 the Last Stand perk could keep you alive for about 15 seconds I think. In COD5, it's at least twice that long... Use the Russian pistol when you get the chance to unlock it, it's defo better than the stock ones...

Yep, 7 for Dags.
It's harder online because the spray and pray weapons are really, really short range.
and the distanced weapons are single shot pretty much.
