auto diagnosis light??

yesterday i got my bf and his dad to replace my idle control valve/stepper motor as my car kept revvng by itself, this replacement fixed the problem but somethin new has now cropt up! typical!
ever since the idle control valve was changed yesterday the auto diagnosis light shows up as soon as i switch the car on then disappears after a couple of seconds. should i be worried? or is this normal?

forgot to add, this light only comes on as soon as i switch the car on then goes after a second or too and doesnt come back until i next switch the car on and does the same thing (is there for a second then goes)
