parkers says the vts will do 0-60 in 7.5 seconds and i dont know how much truth is in that!
it says the leon will do 8.6 to 60 and weighs 400 kilos more. also is an 8v diesel engine. ?

Mk1 Leon FR TDI's have the 150bhp PD engine (code ARL). Though they didnt make the Mk1 FR's in 2000, they were from around 2003 to 2005. Ive driven loads as I work for SEAT, and personally I think they are immense, the torque is unreal and theyre very comfortable and easy to drive

have you driven a VTR or S ?
Yes ive owned both VT Saxos, also had a 1.1 :D
Leon FR around town speeds is quicker than both imo as the power is there almost instanty being a high torque turbo diesel. On a longer run the VTS would be about the same as the Leon

at normal speeds i would say similar to a vtr, the vts will be quicker.
also if you do/have a vts with a few hundred quid you can make it pdq.
i have had both vtr & vts.
