Where to run my RCA'S?

Hey basically i started to fit my amp today threaded through my power cable to the boot tucked all nice and neatly under the carpet down the left handside:y: then i came to my RCA'S and remote lead. i was thinking about running them down the middle of the car but seems alot of hassle with cutting etc? is there an easy way to do it or is my best bet to run them down the right side?

(ive fitted a few amps before onto some of my mates car's but this is the first time ive fitted one onto my own so im abit cautious lol) Thanks:p

people says its best wo keep it away from the power cable and remote cable but tbh i think its a myth unless there very poor quality

if you get a decent set like SPLs, stinger few others too, then it shouldnt really matter where you run them

dont skimp on cabling whatever you do, one of the most important things in a system :y:

Thanks i have a fairly decent set of speakers alpine type R components and some decent speaker wire so it should be all good i hope:y: ill do that then i dont really want to be slicing too much carpet tbh:wink:

slicing carpet, you dont have to, take the fron setas out, undo the rear brackets that hold the carpet in place and rear bench in, undo the two bolts either footwellholding dash and carpet in place and finally lift the door seal off, just the bottom bit and use a screwdriver to prise up the clips to release carpet and thats it tbh

run it along the other side, i had a load of interferance when i ran my power, remote and RCA's all down the same way, its fine now. i ran the power down the passengers side from the grommit above the dash and the RCAs and remote down the drivers side.

if you pull the door seal up a little bit you can get under the edge of the carpet and put them under there
