recently fitted a strut brace worried i have knocked fuel cut off switch - the switch is in but i cant press it or pull it back out, also recently did a coolant change so im thinking air in the system but how do i reset the fuel cut off switch?

also does the fuel cut off switch have to be vertical i can hear a ball inside mine

i think the switch should be outwards.Unless its like half on/off then it shouldnt irregulary cut out/loose power etc if it was the fuel cut off.

the cut off switch is really just a reset button, you shouldn't be able to press it if it is working, it switches off on impact, to prevent fuel flow, so if it was 'turned off' the car wouldn't start, not just cut out all the time, i used to have loads of issues with mine as the bracket snapped for it and to begin with i used to just bodge it inbetween the battery and other parts, obviously it kept getting knocked around and resetting itself.
