Air Filter Pipe?

hi there
been having running problems with my 1.1 saxo recently
i popped the bonnet and noticed the blackair pipe i think, is split
will this be causing the problems?

Yes could well be as your introducing heat/air in an uncontrolled volume.

Depends where the split is. The filter is up near the top so it wouldnt matter much if its down near the front.

It won't cause any major issues at all fella.

Can't hurt to get it replaced or bandage it up. Mine cracked and i owned it with some black electrical tape :)
