between your engine and air filter pipes are 4 wires with a flat base. they plug in there and then connect to your spark plugs near your carberetor

do one at a time or youle fuck up the spark if you put them back in the worng order

On most saxo's the coil pack plugs straight into the spark plugs - HT leads.

Also saxo's are fuel injection - no carb

no. your cars same as mine and its got HT leads going from the spark plugs at the back of the engine to the HT ignition coil on the right hand side of the engine as you are looking at it from the front.
you just need to disconnect the leads from the plugs at the back and the ignition coil at the right side.

It's super easy, when you buy the new one's you'll know what they look like and you'll easily see them in the engine bay. Unplug them and plug the new ones in.

Do each lead one at a time though! If you put the lead into the wrong spark plug then you'll have problems so make sure you do them one at a time.

Standard ones from Halfords or a motor factors will be fine, should be able to pick up a set for under £20. There are upgraded ones but I think they are £40-50.

Althogh.. Buy cheap you buy twice.

I'll just check to see if its the sparks... It could have been coz my car has been stationary and cold for a while and iot was a cold start up?
