Iphone 2G software update

Hi guys,

just wondering is it possible to upgrade the software to 2.0 or what ever it is.
My mate has one and wants know as he want to buy some games for his phone as he is going on holiday this friday.

He has a jailbroken iphone and im not sure if upgrading the software will block his phone as it were.

Help much appreciated.

as far as im aware you can. Not sure if its properly unlocked these days? Search google for pwnage tool

Pretty sure 2.0 is jailbroken now.

yeh ive heard that too, got alot of google software on it i think.
