keypad code not known....

hi there, just brought a scrap car from a insurance firm (cat c) i have the key but not the keypad code. (havent actually got car yet)
Question:
Can i bypass this or remove it so i can get the engine running?
i heard that if the car is off you can simply unplug the keypad, turn ignition on and your away. can anyone confirm this? or does anyone know a definate way to bypass without involving shitroen. thanks:wall:

Speak to Citroen, quote VIN, model and registration and they will give advice, you need to be able to convince them that it is your car though...

other than that nope, its connected to the ECU, fuel system etc..

unless you can wire the car again? :D

Unplug the batterie over night, in the morning plug it in and enter the new code.
