Well

My house is strangely positioned and has no pavement whatsoever, the gate to my house is direclty on the road, i have no drive or anything, and when i get my car, i want to be undercover really to do the stuff i intend to do, is it posible to rent a garage for like a few weeks? Any sort of garage.

Strange question i know.. :zainy:

usually get a contract from the council, my dad paid £30 a month iirc but that was a good few years ago and they were only just built.

£30 a month is cheap id keep it for longer than 2 weeks if it was that cheap, but are they only big enough to just about fit a car in? should i ring the council tommorow then or jsut ring around garages see if they know of anything in the area..

The council are the best bet to try for sure. they ususally have garages to rent unless their all currently occupied.

Council are very good. Also keep an eye out for blocks of flats with garages. Letter drop the block saying you are interested.

Also, keep an eye open in newsagents windows and the local papers. Usually always one to rent down here :)

a group in west mids rents a garage so it can be done. just go to an industrial eastate and look around for somewhere that is up for rent.

put an add up in newsagents saying you want to rent one. im sure there must be somebody round where you are that has a empty garage
