slight problem

on my saxo ive noticed a few little rust dots across bonnet roof and boot, will i be able to polish and wax these out? what can i do to stop it happening again?

if they they aint to bad they might polish out, and to stop it happening again you need to protect it with some kinda polishn and wax etc but i dunno what exactly, but someone will
