heeey,

Thinking about refurbing and spraying my alloys myself, one wheel at a time.

How long do you think it will take? The alloys arent in bad nick.

Thanks :p

Its a big job if you are doing it by hand, very time consuming you could get them sand blasted back to the metal if you can be bothered sanding them down

Have a look at the guide

If you have no curb marks, id say set aside 1-2 days per wheel to do a good job.

Thats JUST actually doing them, remember i leave each wheel for ATLEAST 24hours to dry fully etc etc before you re-fit it to the car.

But sanding the wheel down should take approx 3-4hours.

Then priming it, makin sure is all smooth etc etc

And just leaving time between each coat of primer and paint etc etc

The main time loss is sanding the wheel down really :y:

I dont think there isa guide mate but it coul dnot be any easier tbh, just unbolt the grill (you will see where from when u pop to bonnet)

Pull it off, then the Citroen bit is just held on by torx screws, remove these, it then just pulls out and then just mesh the hole up.

Jobs a gud un :y:

Lol dont do one wheel at a time, do them all in one go. Paint strip one day, then sand them all back. Some coats of primer etc, etc..
Do all the bits then leave them a good week if not longer to let them dry propperly.

Im currently doing mine myself, takes f*king ages sanding them down, thats the only hard bit. Good luck

Haha! Thanks alot mate! Im tempted to just get the done by a pro now. I can imagine it to be a real pain to sand every wheel down. lol

Thanks Saxo_89 too, one of my mates works at a local boyshop, and hes meant to be doing it tomorrow for me. He should be able to do it with ease. Any idea how much this will cost, its at Mates rate also.

Thanks again guys
