Hi all, I have recently bought an Ibiza in yellow, the bodywork is great, but unfortunately the previous owner didn't clean or polish it very often, so the roof in particular is faded quite badly and is quite noticable to me
Is there anything I can use to bring it back up? Are there any products/methods you can recommend to me? Or am I best off taking it to a professional?
Hopefully it can polish up, overwise I'll end up getting the whole car resprayed :panic:
Thanks :y:

Depends how faded it is. G3 Compound and a decent polish (AG SRP or similiar) will help which you could do by hand.
Otherwise you could pay someone to do a full paint correction with an orbital buffer :)

Thanks mate :) I think its beyond the point of hand polishing tbh.
Do you know roughly how much a full paint correction would cost?

Depends entirely on the person you go to, can range from around £50 to a few thousand.

Could always bring it round mine one day and try some of my g3 with my electric buffer, got some decent polish here too, im sure we could bring it up better with us both on it:y:

As mentioned depends on who you go too and how bad the paint really is :)

Cheers mate, yeah we can have a go at it, worth a try before I resort to a full respray at PDC ;)
