Hey,
I know this is a saxo forum but does anyone knw anything about redtops? i really want to do a astra/corsa redtop conversion but dnt know much about thm??
can any1 help??

you can buy a guide from ebay or halfords, you have to build them right though so you'll have to have a good budget to spend.

my mates got a astra 1999 redtop conversion not to sure if he did it or had it done all i am sayin is shit fast lol,

dont buy no ebay guide mate.
Sign up to some vaux forums, sure they have all the info you need.
Never done one personally, but from friends etc gather its not difficult at all.

lots of very useful info on there and a few people who have done loads of conversions so will help you out. look out for beardy he's building a twin engined LET corsa!

why bother with a red top when you can do a Z20LET conversion 200bhp straight off with lots of tuning capabilitys

z20let is much harder to install than a 20xe, a c20let is the turbo to go for but they can be a nightmare

xe is most comonly called a red top and is the 2.0 16v, although a let is essentially the same engine with a turbo

Really dont see why people ask these sort of questions... Why not go to a corsa or nova site and ask them. Your find a lot more members would had done that sort of thing.
Don't mean to be rude, just think its a daft thing to ask tbh

I know what your saying dude but theirs also a few members here been down the red top conversion route williams been one although aint seen him hanging around for a while so it could come up with some good answers here aswell :y:
