Battery Help Please

basically i replaced the battery in my car couple months ago and everything was fine since

left the car for 2 weeks cos i was on holiday came back car started fine
havent drivin it for about 3 weeks cos ive been busy i went to start it up and the battery had gone... car woudntl start now any ideas why it keeps going?

you left something turned on and it emptied the battery?

or possibly the alternator was dead before you replaced the battery.
Then if its dead, it wouldn't have been charging the new batt, hence that may be dead now.

well the alternator like strap thing is going around fine i checked it before i went on holiday

do you think its the fact my alarm is always on and that blinkn light is on that maybe cos i havent used it for 3weeks that its just simply drained?

depends what alarm you have..
Some alarms have 'holiday mode'. which is where you set it on that, and it drains significantly less battery power.
