i'm not even sure if we will have a tree this year. Novelty has worn off and me and the old man can never be bothered to take it down.

Haven't seen any houses yet though, sure i will soon.

Last year the sister and old dear put ours up on Crimbo eve. Me and the old man just sat there watching tele. Then i went out, got wrecked and stared at the tree for a bit.

It's normally the local chav houses on big council estates (no offence) that insist on going head to head with their arch-rival neighbours in getting the most number of lights on the outside of their houses to impress their 16 children

We put ours up 2nd week of december, although I'm clearing the lounge in 2 weeks to have a load of hifi cabling hidden under the floor and Sky HD wiring fitted so may get the tree up that week, while I'm in blitzing mode.

i dont see the point in a putting them up in october or november unless you have children i think first or second weekend of december is better. Just wish i would be able to spend some time my son but my ex prob wont let me. Need a car seat though!!

Made me giggle a lot!!

We dont put ours up until like the weekend before Christmas. My mum is always too busy to pick up the tree any earlier and i literally have to force her to go out and get one in the end. Might start harrassing her about it a bit earlier this year though.
